Folk and World
Parchment was a UK religious folk band formed in 1972. They split in 1978. Their single “Light Up the Fire” became the theme song of the 'Festival of Light' (a grassroots movement formed by British Christians concerned about the development of the permissive society in the UK at the end of the 1960s). The single reached number 31 in the UK charts.
