Passe-Partout (French for "passkey" or "all-purpose") was a Quebec French language children's television program produced by Radio-Québec (later Télé-Québec) that was in production from 1977 to 1987. It aired on Radio-Québec, Radio-Canada and TVOntario, lasting on some networks until 1998. It incorporated both live actors and puppets although neither group interacted with the other. Pierre F. Brault and Michel Robidoux were the composers of the music heard throughout the serie. The actors from the show were Marie Eykel (Passe-Partout), Claire Pimparé (Passe-Carreau) and Jacques L'Heureux (Passe-Montagne), sometimes joined by André Cartier (André), Jocelyne Goyette (Julie), Fardoche (Pierre Dufresne - died in 1984) and Grand-Mère (Kim Yaroshevskaya). A string of voice actors personified the puppets: Mireille Lachance (Pruneau), Ève Gagnier (Cannelle - Gagnier died in 1985 and was replaced by Lucie Beauvais thereafter), Paul Berval (Alakazou), Jocelyne Goyette (Mélodie), Robert Maltais (Perlin), Louise Rémy (Perline), Michèle Deslauriers (Ti-Brin), Marthe Choquette (Madame Coucou), Elizabeth Chouvalidzé (Rigodon), Jean-Claude Robillard (Grand Papa Bi), Nicole Fontaine (Doualé), Hélène Lasnier (Carmine) and Louise Matteau (Alakazique).
