Angolan DJ and producer Pastrana aka Evandro Franco heads up the second Igual release with the superb two tracker In Your Eyes. With his fresh sounds and wealth of musical knowledge, this guy certainly delivers the goods and helps to shape the sound of this new venture. We know we're going to see more from this guy. In Your Eyes intros with a nice steady kick and shuffling hat combi which is joined by cool rhythmic percussions and gritty synths. The synths come through in various guises and transform right before our ears into a grungy spacey type vibe that drips with tech house flavours. A cool acid type vibe runs through the track blending brilliantly with the other elements. Superb stuff that will definitely be a welcome addition to any peak time set. Filters delivers itself with a smooth, deep and moody groove that captivates the mind from start to finish. Nice and chunky kick drums lead the way as subtle percussions sit back allowing the mid range to shine. A kaleidoscope of sounds layer up creating a wonderfully textured groove that eases along effortlessly. Lots going on here that will cause a stir in the imagination, a must have track no doubt.
