Guitarist, harmonica player, and drummer active from the 1960s till his death in 2016. Former president of Tenby Blues Festival, Grover was born in Hebburn near Newcastle and moved to west Wales after a stint performing in London's bustling blues scene. He had also travelled the world to perform with some of the most highly regarded blues bands and artists of his generation, including Lightnin' Slim, Whispering Smith, JB Hutto and The Hawks, and Gene "Mighty Flea" Connors. Although best known as a bluesman, he played drums with Welsh indiepop group The Hepburns from circa 1999 to 2007, contributing lead vocals to one song.
