Born 26th November 1923, Pat Phoenix was best known for her acting role as Elsie Tanner in Coronation Street. She appeared in the show from 1960 until 1973 and again from 1976 until 1984. Pat Died on the 17th September 1986. On her death bed she married, for the third time, her long time lover Anthony "Tony" Booth. Tony is father to Cherie Blair, who is married to former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
