Path Of Decay is a five piece punk band from Belgrade, Serbia. Path of Decay began slowly to form somewhere around 2002 when Vuk, Janko and Pavle realized that it’s just plain dumb to go to rehearsals so as to just play two or three cover songs (badly), and that they could make their own songs. As time passed, new ideas were coming up and new songs were piling up, but all in vain because the band had no real drummer. In 2004 Ivana joined the band, and things started to get a little more serious, although there were still problems with making it all sound better. Finally, in mid-2006 they decided to do their first gig. That first gig was in August 2006 in Bačka Topola, and shortly after that, there was another one in Belgrade. Two more followed, after which the band decided to record the first release. Sound is influenced by loads of bands from all kinds of subgenres of punk; they find it hard to categorize themselves in just one genre. As for the lyrics, they are political, but not in the “preaching” sense. They are simply a personal reaction to the lies and examples of human stupidity to which we are all exposed at one time or another. In August 2007, Marko joined the band. Pavle Đurić - vocals Vuk Nikolić - bass Ivana Bugarinović - drums, Marko Ilić - guitar, backing vocals, Janko Stojanović - guitar, backing vocals
