Subtitled "The city of dreams and nightmares" or "Eleven dreams and nightmares. The title track Roma was composed for a cosmological illumination installation by Peter Greenway in the Piazza del Popolo in Rome, 1996. The subject was the dream of Pope Sixtus V to use the ancient Egyptian obelisk in the Piazza as a cosmological gnomon as part of a large architectural sun dial. Classical Rennaissance compositions.
