Album US 2011 on Nervous Breakdance Media label
Rock, R&B/Soul and Pop
"Truant Wave is the debut studio EP by American singer and songwriter Patrick Stump, member of Fall Out Boy. It was first released as a digital download exclusive to iTunes, on February 22, 2011 through Nervous Breakdance Media, Stump's own record label,[1] before becoming available from all online retailers as of 9 March.[2] It was officially announced through Patrick Stump's official website just one week before the EP's release date, with little lead up and "absolutely zero promotion"[3] and was unexpected by fans as Stump has never made any mention or allusions about it. It is his second release as a solo artist, the first being his "Spotlight (New Regrets)" 7" vinyl. The EP is an advance of the release of Stump's full length album, Soul Punk, composed of songs that Stump did not include in Soul Punk. Patrick Stump officially announced an October 18, 2011 release date for Soul Punk. On June 9 he released Truant Wave on a 12" vinyl, also through his own label and is available on his webstore. He has said the EP is "[kind of] a concept album."[4]" - From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truant_Wave
