b. April 18, 1935 - Brooklyn, New York d. March 30, 1995 (lung cancer) American producer active in the 1960s and 1970s. He began his career in the Boston, Massachusetts folk scene, and in 1963 became a house producer of Jac Holzman's Elektra Records. He is best known for his production work for The Doors.
