Italian musician, producer and sound engineer (Chain Studio, Day Records Studio), solo artist and founder of Death SS and Paul Chain Violet Theatre. Paul Chain is actually a stage name (the literal translation into English of his real name, Paolo Catena) Chronology: 1977-1984 Death SS 1984-1987 Paul Chain Violet Theatre 1986-1988 Boohoos 1987-2003 Paul Chain (Paul Chain's main project) 1999-2003 Paul Chain - The Improvisor (Improvisations) 2001-2003 Paul Chain Experimental Information (Experimental corner) 5 April 2003: Paul Chain is dead (Artistic Death). Evolution of the artist is P.C. Translate (new pseudonym: Paul Cat). Since 2010 work to a new project, without using any pseudonym (simply Paolo Catena) and mixing experimental music with abstract art.
