Paul Mc Cartney did a lot of promotion for his album "Chaos And Creation In The Backyard", probably because he felt very proud of the record - and so he should be! At the time of the release Paul was in America starting his successful US tour with a date in Miami. The main promotion for the album in the States took place during the tour and of course the best way to let the people know you have a new record is to playlive concerts. Because of the US concerts Mc Cartney reserved a couple of dates in July to tape some interviews for European journalists (in Cologne and Paris). At this time the footage for the bonus DVD was also shot at AIR studios in London. Paul often used the medium 'radio' to talk about the record especially in the United Kingdom. As you know (remember Oobu Joobu?) Mc Cartney is very interested in radio. BFB has compiled a special 12-disc set covering all promotional activities broadcast on radio, internet and television. Also included are all the leftovers released as bonus tracks for the singles "Fine line" and "Jenny Wren" and a rare EMI interview disc used to promote the album. Also included are bonus DVDs.
