This Macca Box Set continues the excellent series of his recording careeer in the Eighties, starting with the movie soundtrack of the film "Broad Street" from 1984, now available on CD for the first time.We follow his career when he takes part in the charity events like Live Aid and the Prince's Trust Birthday Party. His own new studio in East Sussex is also ready and he starts recording a new album in early 1985, eventually resulting in the release of the single Spies Like Us and the album "Press To Play". After some promotion McCartney decides to work with producer Phil Ramone, but these sessions are dissapointing and his new manager advises Paul to abandon these sessions and release a compilation album. "All The Best" features the new song Once Upon A Long Ago, the best song from the sessions with Phil Ramone. McCartney is back in the charts with a big selling Christmas hit in Euroope and he takes part in a European promo tour. "Love Mix" offers a complete McCartney Anthology of this interesting period in his career featuring demos, rough mixes, remixes, edits, live versions and much more - on nine audio discs. The five additional DVDs, lasting 8 hours, pick up the story where the 4DVD title "Life After Broad Street 1985-1986" ends and they contain all footage from the 1987 - 1988 period. incl. a 24 page booklet with the complete tracklistings and details.
