A.k.a. Paul W H Midcalf
Born in 1968. The third son of David and Jean. At an early age was always the 'entertainer' at the dinner table. He took to the keyboards at 6 after stealing his brothers Christmas Bontempi present - and later at the age of 14 commandeered his brothers mates drum kit for hours whilst the house was empty. At 16 he nabbed his other brothers Sinclair Spectrum and became a programmer, writing and commercially releasing his first software title "Tombstown" with co-designer Simon Jones, through Amsoft - Alan Sugars software division of Amstrad. He wrote several more titles through Bubble Bus, before moving back in to music and playing keyboards and drums for many Tunbridge Wells based bands, including The Tidy Chaps, The Gringos, Mr Hitlers Holiday, The Warwick Low Band, The Tom Palmer Band and The Varlies. After working for 5 years at JB's Music Stores in Tunbridge Wells, he set up his own studio in 1999, below The Granary Recording Studios in Lamberhurst (Guy Denning), and named it Audio Sorcery. Paul also started Gift Daze, a recording experience company. He is also a keen videographer, and together with his partner Carol Navis (Cut Above Productions) films weddings and commercial releases.
