Paul O'Neill (born February 23, 1956, New York City, New York, USA - died April 5, 2017, Tampa, Florida, USA) was an American composer, lyricist, guitarist and producer. He started his career by playing in high school rock bands and doing some folk guitar gigs at downtown clubs. His first serious steps into the world of music was as a touring guitarist with the musical productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair. From 1980 till 1985, he worked as manager for Leber-Krebs and became one of the biggest rock promoters in Japan working with artists like Madonna and Sting. As a producer he worked with lots of bands like Aerosmith and Savatage. In 1996, he formed Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
