Paulo César Souza, aka Paulinho, was born in Campo Grande, Cariacica (ES), where he still lives. He began to work even in Campo Grande, with maintenance stereos, and soon became recording engineer when the Scalla Stúdio, the oldest in the state. There he met bands like Thor (31), Cellars 22 and Labaredas. Moxuara was the group who sought to produce its first demo tape. Since then, Paulinho worked as a technician in the recording of four albuns of the group. In 1999 he took over the bass in place of Roger Nascimento. He learned to play the instrument at the same time he studied musical harmony and guitar at the Escola de Música do Espírito Santo.
