Pedro Escobedo Hernández Mexican musician and composer; was born on June 29, 1920 in Zacatlán, Puebla. Master Escobedo died on July 3, 1988; Son of Messrs. Antonio Escobedo and Aurora Hernández. Live in his native Zacatlán, in Tlaxcala, in the city of Puebla and in Huauchinango. His first work in music was as an assistant to the Domínguez brothers, whom he supported by loading instruments and scores. Supported by them, he learned to play the piano. His first work was the danzón Zacatlán, a subject that gave him great satisfaction and to which he had special appreciation for being dedicated to the people who saw him born. Other of his songs are "Vidita Mía", "Si Pudieras Amarme", "Sufrimiento", the danzón "Tlaxcala" and "Angelópolis", the latter dedicated to his state.
