A.k.a. Paula Krauss
California based producer and performer PEEK is a unique synthesist and sound engineer combing the sounds of techno, tropical and dubstep, with influences of drum n bass rythms, etheral ambient sound scapes, and mixed with dub stylings of long floating delays and reverb in a live midi rig set up. Although not a vocalist, she often uses her voice creativly as a sample, the basis of her sythesis. Dancehall acapellas often find their way into the mix for a tropical flavor. Finally pulling it all together in a live midi controller set up with keyboard, Peek uses her live sound mixing background to blend the set DJ style while adding in dub fx and live keyboard playing. She has performed around the San Francisco bay area since 2009, with many years of production experience prior.
