A.k.a. S. Nukka Permikallio

Founder, owner and recording engineer at Microvox recording studio in Lahti, Finland, born December 27, 1942 in Helsinki, Finland; died January 9, 2008. The studio was founded in 1968 and disbanded in 1982. Microvox studio was famous for being small (only 60 m2), uncomfortable (the rooms were only 186 cm high) and technologically unadvanced, but a lot of top Finnish artists recorded their music there. Nurmikallio also ran his own group Pekka Nurmikallion Orkesteri in the early 1960s. He played drums in the group.
