Pelvis

voc, g, sax, dr, b,
Singer / Musician of Rock

Members: Adrián Bar - Bass Aldo McCrina - Guitar and voices Loquillo - Drums Danny Sommers - Sax Originally formed as a trio in 1985, Aldo McCrina (guitar and vocals), Rony Bar (bass) and Loquillo (drums) made a rockabilly cult. Baptized in this way in honor of Elvis, with the incorporation of Danny Sommers in saxo in 1986 they began to play as soon as they offered him. Mundi Epifanio, manager of V8 and Los Violadores, offered to record a disc after attending a recital of the band. Thus came the first plate in 1987, which had in "Frívola" the hit of greater radial diffusion. Pelvis was highlighted by critics after his show at the "Rock for Life" Festival at Estadio Obras, and alongside bands such as Virus, Los Violadores, Divididos and La Portuaria. The second album was produced by Sandro and recorded in the studios that the Argentinean Elvis owned in Banfield, all a pride for the band. And as if that were not enough, he sang the song "I want to be a rocker (Hound Dog)". "Indomables" was the title of the third plate of the group, produced independently in 1992. This material was presented throughout the summer of that year, in Villa Gesell, along with several guests: Moris, Héctor Starc, Alejandro Medina, among others. With more than 300 live performances, the band decided to break up in the summer of '93. After the death of MacCrina on February 12, '96 and the withdrawal of Danny Sommers' music, the former Pelvis resumed their careers, separately. Rony Bar creates The Dinosaurs and Loquillo founds Patricias Argentinas. But in September of 2000 they got together for the second stage of the band: Danny Burton became the new guitarist. The debut of this Siglo XXI version was on December 13, 2000 at the Wine Club of Buenos Aires. That summer they recorded "Baby doll", the first video of Pelvis. They recorded "Pelvis is back", with ten songs of pure rockabilly. In 2001 they were exiled in Spain, specifically in the province of Avila, with a Spanish bass player named Antonio Romina. Other review: Pelvis After dissolving Orions, Roman Bar formed Pelvis in 1985, the band originally was a trio that used to incorporate a fourth integral like invited, its musical style was the rockabilly. Time later they add Dammy Somers in saxo and takes its definitive form. With many performances in the circuit of Pubs of Buenos Aires, they arrive at their first disc in 1987, recorded in very few hours of study. His second album in 1991, was produced by Sandro and recorded in his own studio in the town of Banfield, where the mythical singer participates with his voice of the song "Dog Feroz". The third work of the band is published the following year, but the group thanks to internal problems dissolves in 1993. In February 1996 Aldo Mac Crina died. At the end of the year 2000, Roman Bar and Loquillo rearman Pelvis in trio format, for this they summon Danny Burton in Guitar and publish in 2001 "Pelvis is Back", last work of the band that maintains unalterable its musical style.
