Composer, singer, producer and choreographer, Pepe Gallinato was an important figure in the Chilean music industry in the 1960s and 1970s, with equivalent contributions in the genres of the new wave and the neofolclore. It was one of the architects of television programmes as famous as "Música Libre" "Free music" (with his wife, Mirta Furioso Argentine nationality) and another series of projects that brought international pop to Chilean TV
