Born in Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, Ireland. Irish bass player, composer and record producer. Best known as bass player with The Boomtown Rats, Briquette continues to play bass with Bob Geldof, and has worked with Tricky (Maxinquaye) in 1995, a Dutch singer named Bloem de Ligny and a French singer named Renaud in addition to producing Dublin band The Frames D.C. First cousin of Johnnie Fingers.
