Pete Woodroffe started his career in the mid 1980's as Fairlight programmer and assistant engineer in UK. In the first years, his real name Peter Woodroffe was widely used for credits. In the late 1980's, he had a collaboration with Herbert Grönemeyer, for who he recorded and mixed his million selling albums Ö (at Dierks Studios and Villa Amelie), Luxus and Chaos. Starting from a cooperation with Mike Shipley and Robert John Lange, he started his work with Def Leppard. In the 1990's, he worked almost exclusively with the band as a producer and songwriter. Starting in 2001, he formed a pop songwriting duo with Charlie Grant. He is still active in songwriting and producing until today.
