Pete Bones has been a DJ and producer for more than 20 years. He gained his first residency in 1991 at Hand & Spear in Surrey. His DJ career took off quickly and it wasn't long before he was appearing all over Europe and the UK. In '94 he launched Ugly Bug records and recorded hits under an array of aliases - including the club mash, 'Just Lick It' as The Shaker - before being signed to XL Recordings in '95. He then launched Red Ant Records. Pete has had residencies at New York's Shine, Centro-Fly and Rain in his adopted home town of Tampa, Florida.
