Singer of Rock, Reggae and Electronic
Pete Holdsworth was the singer for London Underground. He was cofounder of the On-U Sound label in 1980. As London Underground dispanded in 1984 he slipped out of the limelight but not from the scene. In 1989 he formed another short-lived band called Mystery Train, which featured reggae writer David Katz on keyboards. Pete re-emerged fully in around 1994 as the label manager for the now successful Pressure Sounds reggae re-issue label - initially as a subsiduary of On-U Sound. He was also involved in the setting up of the Green Tea label in 1997.
