The music originated instinctively whilst played live. There was no concept for the composition before, only a kaleidoscope of sounds stemming from the given instruments. The sound of this CD is dedicated to the room and the sound system at the Melkweg. Don't be shocked if you are not able to hear the low-end frequencies of the bassline and drumming. An important reason for the very low frequencies was my intention to let the audience feel the music instead of pure listening. To listen to this low frequency in your environment you need enough range for 20-45 Hz. NAMLOOK FRANKFURT 1993 Recorded and composed live at Melkweg, Amsterdam on October 31st, 1993 from 1.55 am to 3.09 am Special thanks to: Elisabeth Fabia Kathrin Christian Thier Amir Abadi Ludwig Rehberg of EMS Per (who convinced me to come to Amsterdam) Mixmaster Morris Arthur Dood Limitation: 500 The tracklisting only states one title, "The Dutch Side of the Milky Way" , which is spread over 9 tracks.
