Pete Ord is a musician and producer hailing from sunny Cumbria. Now based in Cambridge, Pete has been song writing for most of his life and has written for genre’s from Reggae to Punk, from Rock to Folk and is currently director of Haystack Records where his productions have received international airplay including tracks on BBC Radios 2, 3 & 6. As a musician Pete has spent many years writing and playing in rock/punk bands, and these days can be found performing across the UK in various guises ranging from some of the UK's top ceilidh bands, to airing self-penned folk tales in the countries clubs and arts centres, to underground punk rock venues with Cambridge band The Electric Lights.
