British engineer and producer. Not to be confused with UK engineer/producer Pete Coleman! Started in London where he became the engineer for producer Mike Chapman at Audio International Studios in the 1970s. They then worked together in the U.S., most notably at MCA Whitney Recording Studios in California, with such acts as Suzi Quatro, The Sweet, Smokie, Blondie, The Knack (3) and Pat Benatar before Coleman went solo in the 1980s. He moved to Nashville in the early 1990s, working extensively at Treasure Isle Recorders/Treasure Island Studios (2). Often credited on modern country releases associated with Sam Martin.
