Peter Martin is an American percussionist and music educator specializing in chamber and solo repertoire, as well as contemporary and new music. He is a member of Third Coast Percussion and the principal percussionist of Ensemble Dal Niente. Martin has performed with The Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, New Philharmonic Orchestra, International Contemporary Ensemble, Eighth Blackbird, Signal (9), Scandinavian Chamber Orchestra, Opera Moda, Greeley Philharmonic and Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestras, the Thodos Dance Company and a few other prominent ensembles and groups.
