Included in oversize 48-page paperback book with essay by John Corbett, interview between Corbett and Brötzmann, gallery of 27 plates and translation of the German interview included on the CD. This catalog has been published on the occasion of the exhibition "Peter Brötzmann: The Inexplicable Flyswatter: Works on Paper 1959-1964", at 1926 Exhibition Studies Space, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, March 7-28, 2003, and at Woodland Pattern Book Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 1-May 18, 2003. CD 1 plays blank on CD machines. CD 2 to CD 3 recorded at Lila Eule, Bremen, Germany, November, 1965; broadcast by Radio Bremen, December, 1965; mastered at Airwave Studio. Audio on CD-ROM 3 comes from For Adolphe Sax, 1967. Enhanced CD-ROM requirements: Windows 95/98/2000/XP, Pentium, 64MB RAM, or Mac OS 8.6+/Power PC/G2/G4, 64 MB RAM. Viewing the CD-ROM requires Quicktime 5/MPEG-1 CODEC. The CD-ROM application simply presents the three videos in a frame. The videos can also be found in their original Quicktime format in the Video folder of the disc. All material previously unissued.
