A.k.a. Peter A. Giles
English bass player and vocalist. Born 17 June 1944, in Winton, Bournemouth, Dorset, England. First recordings with his brother, Michael Giles in Johnny King and The Raiders (1960 - 1961), Dave Anthony and The Rebels (1961), The Dowlands Brothers & The Soundtracks (1961 - 1963), The Sands (1963), The Interns (1963), Trendsetter Limited (1964 - 1966), The Trend (1966) and The Brain (1967), before founding Giles, Giles & Fripp in September, 1967. Peter was replaced by Greg Lake when Fripp and Michael Giles formed King Crimson. Peter later guest appeared on King Crimson's second album “In the Wake of Poseidon”, and in 2002 he joined with other Crimson alumni in 21st Century Schizoid Band.
