Album US 1986 on Aspen Records label
Folk (Folk)
"This is Classic American Guitar. The style dates back to Revolutionary times, well over a century before the beginnings of Modern Classical Guitar. Its techniques were preserved by blues and mountain players of the early 1900's, and my introduction to the style was through those traditions. Twenty years ago, I began my own musical journey. The techniques are old. But the direction is different. This record is a log of those travels."
