Born the 6th of June 1981 and originally from Prince Alfred's Hamlet, near Ceres, South African Peter Mitchell lived in Scotland for a few years where he performed as a street busker and paid his way around the island as a farm worker, tractor driver, chef, waiter, and barman. With two locals he also recorded a CD titled "A Day Out" under the name The Robert Villain Experience. Returning to South Africa, Peter released his debut "Hamlet By Night" in 2008, featuring a solid cast of backing musicians. He is also known as a member of the Valiant Swart band and The Mystic Boere Orkes and uses the name "Robert Villain" for his comedic alter-ego.
