Dutch music journalist, commonly credited for liner notes. Peter Schröder studied sociology at the University of Amsterdam and was editor of Dutch Music Magazine Hitweek / Aloha in the 1960s and 70s. He wrote as free-lance journalist for Dutch daily newspaper De Volkskrant, weekly Vrij Nederland and weekly HP Magazine about pop music and youth affairs. At the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science he worked on science policy, in particular the scientific information policy. As a small independent, he now advises scientific institutions on their information services. He writes texts in various media about scientific and social developments.
