Romanian composer, pianist and orchestra conductor, born May 2, 1920, Craiova - passed away November, 1997, Bucharest Studied music at Cornetti Conservatory of Craiova and Bucharest Conservatory (1938-1942) 1939-1940 - pianist and conductor at Ion Vasilescu Theatre 1940-1941 - pianist and conductor at Cărăbuș Theatre 1948-1956 - pianist and conductor at Teatrul de Revistă Constantin Tănase 1965-1967 - pianist and conductor at Ion Creangă Children's Theatre of Bucharest He has toured as pianist and bandleader in the USSR (1949), Italy (1969), Finland (1970, 1971), Sweden (1972), Denmark (1972), RF Germany (1973.1975, 1977), Greece (1977, 1978), Japan (1974, 1977, 1979), Morocco (1989), etc..
