A.k.a. Martin Stürtzer
PHELIOS is a dark ambient project by the german musician Martin Stürtzer. He also runs the Phobos festival in Wuppertal. He released music on Eternal Soul Records, Malignant Records and Loki Found. The music of Phelios is breathtaking and hypnotic, often evoking moments of serenity and beauty, yet spiking them with deep cushions of ritualistic percussion and textural squalls that suggest something much more ominous and threatening looms on the vast horizon.
