A.k.a. Philip Michael Walden

American record company executive, manager, producer, and songwriter. Co-founder of Capricorn Records in 1969, Walden had managed several acts in the 1960's including Otis Redding from 1959 to 1967. He was also a member of NORML's board of directors during Capricorn's heyday as the home of southern rock in the 1970s. Walden said he liked the music and appreciated the chance to open a public debate about marijuana laws. Alan Walden's brother. (January 11, 1940 – April 23, 2006)
