Another living legend of lacquer-cutting. His initials, "pa" along with the month/year, are found in the dead-wax of numerous House classics since the 80's although his career started much earlier than this. Phil has been incredibly helpful and useful to discographers and discoggers alike by dating his mastering work. He has also mastered-and-cut his share of massive and seminal "Pop", like that 15-plus-minute, chart-topping masterpiece "Rapper's Delight"! For most of his career he worked at the Trutone Mastering Labs. He is not to be confused with Philip Austin of The Firesign Theatre.
