Longtime Chicago DJ/producer of old-school breakbeat/happy hardcore/jungle. Graffiti artist since the mid-1980s, wrote CHASE. In 1992, shortly after studying art at Millikin University, Phil (with Eugene Parayno aka MC Gene) started an influential hand-drawn rave zine called Free Art. Died unexpectedly on September 9, 2015 at age 44.
