Bass player and after the departure of their original singer took on vocal duties for Islington punk band The Dark. In 1981 he produced the The Heathrow Touchdown E.P. which started a long relationship as producer for Action Pact. After The Dark split up he went to work for Cherry Red Records Ltd., running their Anagram Records label. Phil died of a drug overdose in 1988.
