Founded in 1998, the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra has proved in the last few years to be one of the most prestigious wind ensembles in the world. It is composed of principal players of the Prague Philharmonic. It has been conducted since the beginning by Marc Reift, and has already recorded many CDs. Libor Mathauser (musical advisor), Miroslav Mareš (recording engineer), Nicolas Masserey (mastering), and Zdeněk Divoký (manager) have all contributed to this success. The aim of PWO is to fosted wind band music, and to share this enthusiasm with its audience.
