PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED FM BROADCAST FROM 1994 Formed at the University of Vermont in 1983, Phish s blending of genres as diverse as funk, prog, folk, psych, country, jazz, blues, bluegrass, and pop - and probably a number of others that they made up themselves - has landed them at the top table of the improvisational groups, initially inspired by the Grateful Dead and colloquially known as the jam bands . The show presented on this set however has not previously been released in any form, thus remaining something of a rarity among fans. Featuring a gig which included the contribution of special guest Carlos Santana on certain tracks, and one recorded for simultaneous live FM Broadcast, at the State Palace Theatre in New Orleans on 4th May 1994, this superb performance is now available on double CD for the first time.
