A.k.a. George Shamanauri

George studied in Tbilisi State Conservatory. After finishing his master studies in Georgia, he continued his studies in Cologne Music School. He was a principal trumpet in Tbilisi State Opera Orchestra,Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra and Georgian Philharmonic, where he works till now as a principal trumpet. In 2005 George founded brass instrument ensemble under “Mikeladze Center for Performing Arts” He is a solo player and is in partnership with such symphonic orchestras as: Georgian Sinfonietta, Tbilisi State Opera Orchestra, Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra, Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra, Qutaisi Symphony Orchestra. He is one of the founders of the “Young Georgian Musicians Association” George has organized several projects and concerts. George works for different recoding labels from 1999 as a songwriter and instrumentalist. He created few projects that are still releasing on different labels. In 2015 George started collaboration for his project “Phonothek” with his wife Nina, Georgian artist and songwriter who studied in Tbilisi State Conservatory and Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Nina is an independent artists who released her debut album in 2014 and was best selling artist of the year. She’s working on few different projects and one of them is “Phonothek”.
