Pickard's Chinese Syncopaters

Entertaining band, consisting in a combination of mandolins and guitars. Founded in the mid-1920's by James Pinkard from Hawaii. They are sometimes indicated simply as "Chinese Syncopaters". The band made just a few records and appeared in one known Hollywood Short at Paramount called "Singapore Sue" in 1931.
