German DJ and producer. Born in 1974 in Arolsen. Blaszcyk died between 10th and 12th December 2012 due to an asthma attack. Since the mid 90s, Pierre is listed among the most popular techno djs in Germany. He gained wide spread respect and attention as resident dj at Aufschwung Ost, the legendary club in Kassel, which was renamed Stammheim in 1997. From then on until its closing in 2002, Pierre was also owning manager of the venue. He plays at festivals and clubs all over Europe but also toured in Canada and Australia, where he was voted "#3 Best Foreign DJ" by Orb Magazine in 1997. In 1996, Pierre founded his own label HörSpielMusik, releasing tracks by artists such as John Acquaviva, Ricardo Villalobos, TokTok and many others. A tool-oriented sublabel was added in 1999, Utils.
