Pieter Snapper is an American-born composer and sound engineer. He founded the MIAM Studio and has become one of the most sought-after audio engineers in Turkey. He is particularly known as a mastering engineer and a classical producer, and he has worked with many of the biggest names in the Turkish and international music worlds. As a composer, his works have won numerous international accolades, and in recent years have particularly focused on live and interactive electronic media. Before MIAM, Pieter served on the faculty of the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music in both the composition and music technology (TIMARA) departments.
