Born in 1979, Pietro is a multi-instrumental musician dedicated to the practice of improvised music and the study of soundscape. His musical projects include: Oper’azione Nafta Freeform noise trio who recorded the 2008 LP ‘cavuru’ for American label Stiltbreeze and the 2014 cd-r “airport meconium” for German label Attenuation-Circuit. LattumeMuto Electroacoustic duo who recorded the 2009 CD ‘sokere’ for the Spanish label for Noise’s sake. La Dolce Visa Psychedelic shamanic trio. Scrusci Fest (Founder and Artistic Director) festival di musiche Brut(t)e now in its 5th year playing host to artists from around the world. Sciaramantica (Creator) Experimental radio format presented at the Frontiere Liquide Festival in Siracusa, the Goethe Institute in Palermo, the soundscape FKL meeting in Florence (2012) and at the Free-Q fest for the Museum of Contemporary art Villa Croce in Genova (2013). mimema(President and Founding member) Cultural association. Member of a Sicilian collective of artists and musicians involved in acoustic ecology projects dedicated to exploring interaction with the sound environment. Collaborations with other artists include: Jean-Marc Montera, Amy Denio, Ken Hyder, Tim Hodgkinson, Tristan Honsinger, Barre Phillips, Damo Suzuki, Roberto Fega, Patrizia Oliva, Stefano Giust.
