PIEVOS were formed by Virginija, the inspirer, singer and song writer of the band, in 1996 in a small town named Rokiskis. Although last decade group's name refers to folklore and folk rock but music of PIEVOS represents more genres - starting with singing poetry and ending with rock, funk, blues and even metal. The unique and powerful vocals of Virginija, deep and meaningful lyrics and emotional music, which combines all this into one indivisible whole – these are the attributes of PIEVOS that began to form with the very first song and accompanies the band up to these days.
