Fictional singer-songwriter created and portrayed by Japanese comedian Daimaou Kosaka. The music video for his 2016 single "PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)" went viral, it has been viewed over 130 million times on Youtube, and has spawned several parody videos. The track debuted at number 77 in the Billboard Hot 100, and became the shortest song in its charting history, leading to a Guinness World Record.
