Piry has been playing, composing and recording music since 1999. In 2007 he and his cousin Gerardo Dueñas founded Mookie Records. Recording and releasing their own music. Along with helping local bands capture their creations. Mookie Records is keeping analog tape recording alive by eliminating computers during tracking and mixing.
