Collected Locations Vol II comprises 3 Placement rarities, plus 3 Placement collaborations featuring Man Meets Bear, Kuroi Mori and Off Land respectively. All the tracks were recorded between 2008 to 2016, but were specifically re-mastered for the album to form a coherent program of music - the band also deliberately forwent the use of compression during this process to preserve the original dynamics of the recordings, adding the note "Please make full use of your volume controls to release the uncompressed depth of these recordings" to their release literature. Initially the album had no hard copy counterpart - the download being made available via Bandcamp https://placement.bandcamp.com/album/collected-locations-ii
